Mr. Wilbur Between Lodge served as the OSTPH Board of Directors Chairman for many years. Through his guidance and support, OSTPH has been in operation since 1999, having sustained the program as we continued to develop and promote the spirit of self sufficiency to the Oglala Lakota Oyate.

Under his direction, the local Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) was incubated through OSTPH, providing our tribal members the opportunity to apply for a mortgage locally, thus Recapturing the Spirit of Self Sufficiency.

He is a Veteran of the US Army, a Vietnam era & former Vice-President of the Oglala Lakota Nation.
We, at OSTPH have been blessed to know & work with Mr. Between Lodges. His knowledge, expertise, commitment, motivation & direction are missed.

Sadly he lost his battle to cancer on 1/31/16.
